Bunk House Accommodation & Indlovu Environmental Experience Centre

Set in the heart of the bio-diverse Garden Route, the Indlovu Environmental Experience Centre makes an ideal venue for visiting schools, special interest and college groups, wishing to explore this area. The presence of our elephants, the indigenous flora and fauna, our environmental educational facilities and the Parks proximity to the other attractions of the Garden Route make it one of the best utilised centres. Attending our half-hourly lecture tours is an important part of any environmental education program at the park, and, in keeping with our vision:

BUNK HOUSE ACCOMMODATION

Dormitory Style accommodation for sports teams, schools, back- packers and large special interest groups. The bunkhouse takes up to 76 people, in shared accommodation of various sizes, with spacious, clean ablutions. A lovely kitchen with indoor braai facility. Cozy lounge area adjoining conference/dining hall. Sundowner Group Packages

Spend an evening enjoying snack platters and sundowners whilst interacting with the elephants at our ‘Elephant Lounge’. With spectacular views of the Knysna forest and Outeniqua mountain range get a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to know these gentle giants awaits you. Our well-trained guides will unfold the story of the African Elephant and their plight across the continent. The Sundowner package is for groups of more than ten people wishing to interact with the elephants on a more exclusive basis.

Minimum:  10 persons                                    Maximum:  50 persons

Including: 

The package is inclusive of snack platers and wine/beer, however, special requests can be catered for

Guests are transported to the Elephant Lounge in an open game-veiwing vehicle, where they will be met by our hosts.

The elephants, their handlers and guides are on hand until approx. 19h00.

The group package caters for groups from 10 - 50 guests, and always offers 'exclusivity' to your group.

The vehicle returns guests to the main reception area by approx. 19h30.

We are flexible, and can cater for individual group needs.

Additional entertainment (eg. talks, concerts etc.) or requests can be arranged.

ELEPHANT WALKING SAFARIS

Our informative guides will impart stories of the Knysna elephants and surrounding natural wonders. Upon return take pleasure in breathtaking views of the Outeniqua mountain range as you sip on a glass of chilled champagne.
