Shark Africa was started by Roy and
Jacky Portway in June 1995. They are both qualified divers, skippers,
radio operators, SATOUR guides and even though sharks are a serious
business and we are intent on imparting information ( how to size a
shark, sex the shark, body marks, parasites, body language, diet,
reproduction, habitat, etc.) pertaining to the GREAT WHITE SHARK, we
are just as intent on having an enjoyable and fun day which you will

Game Tracks
Crocodile Route:
Average duration ±45min Take a gentle ride with the Quads on only for 6.8km. Usually some game can be spotted and our turning point is our crocodile dam. The guide will explain to you why crocodiles? So to know, take the family on this trip!
Zingela Circle:
Average duration: ±1.5hrs This is for the more adventures and a spectacular trail. Adrenaline levels do increase and you are all the time well guided. Half way you stop to experience the
tranquility and the awesome view. Crocodile stop also included. Completion of this circle is a must for it is more likely to view more animals.
Challenge Trail:
For the more dare devils and only second and third time visitors allowed. This trail is a challenge extension of the Zingela Circle. No lifting is allowed on this challenge. Only small groups are allowed to do this. Special bookings to be made for this trail. Only the most experienced guides to conduct this challenge.
4 X 4
Zingela's tracks are suitable for most 4x4 vehicles. Roads are well maintained and luxury vehicles will not scratch. This is a good route for the less experienced, however not recommended for first time users. This route is a self drive tract. Good family drive.

Seal island and whale watching trips. 3000 seals are on the island, whale watching is only available from June - October. The boat is a luxury two-massed motor -sailor. |
